Mi piace il calcio!!!

So, I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but here in Rome soccer is actually called calcio, not football. (Yes, I was very surprised too!) But last Saturday night we decked out in our new Roma gear and checked out a Roma v. Siena game. What an experience!!! Italians are crazy about soccer. Yes, crazy. Outside the stadium everything is really chill (though the rivalry between the two teams in Rome is pretty intense), but inside the stadium everyone goes wild! We had so much fun...we got to see Totti play, sang along with the Roma fans (sort of, haha), and watched Roma win - definitely a great cultural experience!



This is where all the Roma fans sit - the other half of the stadium was nearly empty, but this section was packed!
